Tuffet Class Supply List
All supplies are available at Steve’s. They have a wonderful selection of fabrics, fat quarters, jellyrolls and Tonga strips. Sewing Machine □ Machine clean and in good working order □ Power cords and foot pedals □ Attachments, feet, bobbins □ Extension table, if you use one Supplies □ Tuffet pattern with instructions □ Straight pins □ Threads □ Machine needles □ Scissors, large & a small sharp pair □ Rotary cutter with sharp blade □ Add-a-Quarter Ruler-12" works best – bring all packaging □ 18" or 24" rectangular ruler Fabrics for tuffet - a traditional pieced tuffet □ 8 –fat quarters cuts cut into 64 - 2" x 20" strips OR one Bali Pop, Moda Jelly Roll or Tonga Treats of 2 ½” strips (strips do NOT need to be trimmed down to 2")

1 ¼ yards of muslin
6" square of fabric for button 18" square of fabric for bottom of tuffet
Pre-work prior to first class □ Purchase pattern and muslin. Cut the advertising from the fusible pattern and bring the scraps to class. Iron the fusible pattern onto the muslin. Do not cut out the panel pieces – come to class with all 8 panels ironed onto the muslin – one big piece of fabric.

If you are not using pre-cut strips, please come to class with 64 – 2” x 20” strips
