Vision Statement by Network of NGOs in Western Region
1 VISION STATEMENT FROM THE NETWORK OF NGOS Date: 19th November 2015 Venue: Kingstel Hotel, Takoradi -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Mr. Chairman, Ladies and gentlemen, All protocols observed; The Network of NGOs in the Western Region presents the following vision statement.
Creating structures and mechanisms for coordinating, monitoring and evaluating development programmes by NGOs. This will strengthen social accountability mechanisms to increase transparency and the sustainability of Ghana’s natural resources for generations yet unborn
Establish a legal framework and conducive environment for NGOs to continue to assist viable groups and societies through active engagement and participation of CSOs in the development agenda
We also envisage that, the development plan should encourage local NGOs to partner with foreign NGOs. Thank you.
