Opening Kick Riding a four-game winning streak, the Bullets take a break from their Centennial Conference schedule as they take on the eighth-ranked Lynchburg College Hornets this evening. The Series Tonight's match marks the first-ever meeting between Gettysburg and Lynchburg in women's soccer. Last Time Out Sophomore Lauren Miesemer drilled in a beautiful long-range shot in the 88th minute for her first collegiate goal, capping a thrilling finish and lifting the Bullets to a 2-1 victory at Ursinus College in their Centennial Conference opener this past Saturday. Miesemer's goal came less than two minutes after Ursinus had scored to tie the match. Freshman Charlotte Cenatiempo also scored her first career goal for the Bullets, striking in the 76th minute to break open a scoreless match. Gettysburg, which won its fourth game in a row, controlled the match statistically, outshooting the Bears 14-5. Five different players scored a goal as Lynchburg rolled to a 6-0 victory over Southern Virginia University in a non-conference tilt this past Friday night. Junior Hannah Olds scored two goals while senior Samantha Bagherpour added a goal and an assist for the Hornets, who outshot the Knights 47-2.
