STEP 2: YOUR “WHAT COULD BE” HOMEWORK SHEET 2A: YOUR PERSONAL VISION STATEMENT The 3-Step “Transform Your Relationship Experience” Vision Statement is different than other types of Vision Statements that you might also have, such as a Vision Statement for the kind of circumstances that will define your life three years from now, or a Business Vision, or a Vision o f how you’ll contribute to creating world peace. Here are four distinguising qualities and benefits of the 3-Step “Transform Your Relationship Experience” Vision Statement: 1. It’s only one sentence long. 2. The template for it is the same for everyone. 3. It’s “fill in the blank,” and you get examples for what to use to fill in the two blanks. You can choose one of the examples provided, or use one your own. 4. It’s written in comparative (relative) rather than definitive language. In order for your Vision to be fulfilled, you don’t need to see a certain model and color car in your driveway. You only need to be able to experience just a little bit less of what you want to have less of, and a little bit more of what you want more of. Because of these aspects of the 3-Step “Transform Your Relationship Experience” Vision Statement, you can begin to see it being fulfilled in your life as quickly as in the next few hours.
