Dear Parents/Carers, As we are approaching the end of Year 6 there are some significant dates that we want to make you aware of: Year Year Year Year

Show – Thursday 30th June – 2.00pm and 6.30pm Afternoon Tea – Monday 11th July - 3.00pm-4.15pm Prom – Wednesday 20th July – 6.00pm-8.00pm Graduation – Thursday 21st July – 9.15am
There will be two performances of the Year 6 show, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. We anticipate that this will last no longer than an hour and a half, with the interval included in this time. Tickets can now be purchased from the office for £1.00 each. Every child will be guaranteed two tickets, and extra tickets will be available on a first come, first serve basis. The Year 6 Afternoon Tea is a new event that has been introduced for the first time at Hartsholme Academy, especially for our Year 6 students. It will involve the students working with some professional chefs during the day to prepare an afternoon tea that will be served to their parents between 3.00pm-4.15pm. This is a free event and will hopefully equip the students with some essential life skills. For the prom this year, the Year 6’s have chosen a masquerade theme. Tickets for the prom are £5.00 each. This covers the cost of food and drink, room decoration and entertainment. It will begin at 6.00pm when the students will be welcomed into the prom and they will need collecting at 8.00pm. Lastly, the Year 6 students will be graduating on the last day of term and we would love you to join us for this final celebration. The graduation will begin at 9.15am and this usually lasts around two hours. When this has finished the students have the option to go home with their adult. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the support that you have shown the school throughout your child’s time at Hartsholme.
