Quick Cute Tuffets Pattern – 10% off for class members 2 m Upholstery cord 2.2 m ShapeFlex interfacing 15 Degree wedge ruler 3 ½” x 12 ½” Quick trim ruler if you have one Tuffet Foam Tuffet Base 4 T-nuts 4 legs with bolt 1 m Sew Lazy SLG105 Dreamy batting Masking tape Very long upholstery needle Large cover your own button 100 % cotton thread to blend Chop stick or pencil (this will be used under the tuffet)
Fabric: Either 12 pieces 15cm each OR 6 pieces 35cm each OR 2 pieces 1m each Other Supplies: Straight Pins Sewing machine with ¼” foot and zig-zag foot, pedal, cords and manual 18” x 24” rotary cutting mat Sharp rotary cutter Sharp scissors Pencil Sharpie felt marker or Frixion highlighter .6 Freezer Paper 1 medium-large safety pin Staple gun & staples HOMEWORK: 1. If your tuffet base does not have holes for the T-nuts. In the Tuffet wood base drill (4) 3/8” holes 2 ½” in from the edge at north, south, east and west points 2. With a medium iron interface your fabric with the Shape Flex. Pre-plan your interfacing, as the fabric needs to be cut in the next step. Then cut the fabrics into (24) strips 3” x 21 ½” wide.
