It also creates feelings of personal growth, a sense of accomplishment and purpose, self confidence and social connectedness. Challenging activities such as quilting strengthen entire networks in the brain, as well as enhancing feelings of emotional and social well being. Think of how that multiplies when you include others in your hobby. Relationships are created or are enhanced through teaching others, or giving quilts to family members of all ages. You develop friendships with other quilters, and establish connections with the wider community through charitable donations, like participating in the Quilts of Valor Sew Day. You will feel good knowing that you have done something that makes a difference to other people. Quilting puts life in a whole different prospective. Country Traditions Class Policies: Reservations are required for all classes, clubs & events. PAYMENT IS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION TO HOLD YOUR PLACE IN CLASS. Complete class supply lists will be given when you register for the class. Classes require three or more students for the class to be held. If the class is canceled by Country Traditions due to low enrollment, your class fee will be refunded. If the class is postponed due to weather the class will be rescheduled. So that we may commit to our teachers, sorry there is NO refund if you cancel. Please check class dates and your own calendar carefully before registering. If an emergency occurs, you can send a friend in your place. A sewing machine is required for most classes, you are welcome to reserve our Classroom Models, please arrive early for class so we can review how it works with you. Due to copyright laws, if the class requires a pattern or book, each student is required to purchase one. Samples of class projects are on display at the store. Students are encouraged to purchase their class project supplies from Country Traditions.
