Dandridge Broncos Board Meeting Minutes March 20, 2013
Motion made by Darrin Breeden to hold a golf tournament fundraiser on June 15th at Patriot Hills Golf Course. Will be a 4 man scramble format with cost to be $75.00 per person or $280.00 per team. Crystal & Brent Tallent also nominated to head planning. Seconded by Chris Perry. Motion approved by majority vote.
Darrin informed the board that as a result of E.M.F.C. choosing the insurance provider that they have, all communities have agreed to accept the provider’s requirement that all coaches and assistants be required to either attend a coaching certification class or complete one online. The cost is $24.00. After discussion the board decided that it would not be paying that fee, and coaches would need to cover it individually. However that class includes a national background check which with eliminate the need to get one separately as will currently do. Motion made by Darrin Breeden to have all coaches, directors and team moms take the course and cover the $24.00 fee. Seconded by Bo McKinzie. Motion approved by majority vote.
Motion made by Darrin Breeden to purchase new game uniforms at a cost of $49.25 / jersey and $42.00 / pant. Seconded by Beth Haynes Motion approved by majority vote.
Motion made by Darrin Breeden to order necessary parts and have ice machine re-installed according to factory specs to avoid a possible warranty issue. Cost up to $700.00. Seconded by David Parrott. Motion approved by majority vote.
Financial statement was presented to the board by Melinda Breeden. Current balance in checking is $23,509.99.
