Diversity Committee Meeting Monday, December 7, 2015 Dragon Rouge Restaurant Alameda, CA NOTE: All minutes are final after approval by the committee chair and all committee decisions are subject to final approval by the Board. Committee Members Present: Sada Chidambaram, Chair; Joel Nicolas, Tom Watson, Minnie Wong, Vince Owens, Jesse Inghelram and Craig Pasqua Committee Members Absent: Martha Ehrenfeld Staff Members Present: Silvia Dueñas-Bielser and Steve Leube Sada, chair of the Diversity Committee, called the meeting was called to order at 7:10 pm.
ACES 2015 Nominations Committee discussed all the nominations at length. The following motion was duly made and seconded: The following motion was duly made and seconded: RESOLVED, to approve the following slate for the 2015 ACES in the Diversity & Inclusion categories. The motion was approved by a vote of 6 in favor, 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. 1. Diversity Committee Trailblazer Award- For lifelong service and/or groundbreaking service to the minority tennis community a. Christine Costamagna 2. Diversity Committee Leadership Award- For outstanding coaching, mentoring and leadership in the minority tennis community a. Iesha Stewart 3. Diversity Committee Service Award- For outstanding organizational or program outreach to the minority tennis community a. YMCA of Silicon Valley
