2012 Yamhill Riesling TASTING NOTES Chris Blanchard, MS Like opening a box of peach jell-o, honeysuckle and gardenias, green apple jolly rancher. Definitely new world in style, with perfumed exotic ripe fruit on the nose.

Serious stuff in the mouth. Bold acidity, crisp, ripe fruit, medium bodied with a bright finish and a touch of bitter grape skin. This wine has a touch more residual sugar, but far from being sweet, it has the lip smacking vibrancy that entices you to quickly come back for another swig. This wine would pair well with salty snacks or spicy food. I would love it with Indian style sauteed okra, fried pickles, grilled

sausages

with

hot

mustard,

chorizo, etc.
