Foto-ZZoom is the first in Malaysia to have a registered trademark in the photo industry.
Foto-ZZoom is the first to incorporate a consistent retail image with uniformed staff in all its stores and is still the only one with a consistent image. Foto-ZZoom is the only photo retail chain store with 100 percent female staff handling all the daily operations at store level.
In Malaysia, the photo industry is traditionally owned and managed by Chinese, but at Foto-ZZoom, ethnic Malay ladies handle all the day-to-day operations at the retail store level, and management comprises 85 percent of Malay ladies as well. Foto-ZZoom produces more than 1,000,000 colour prints per month.
Foto-ZZoom has been the biggest buyer of mini-labs in the industry since 1993. Foto-ZZoom was the first in the photo industry to be awarded Superbrands status.
