Yogi Berra is often quoted as one who has said, ”it’s déjà vu all over again.” It is here. The new year has begun. It comes every year at this time. It is an opportunity to remember that we have a chance to begin again. There is a song that has Phiippians 3:1314 as a Scriptural basis. The verse says, “Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal.” The song is “I Am Resolved”. Let us consider this January as a time to refocus our lives around Christ. Let us consider HIM to be the one who leads us and guides us. We can begin to follow HIM and leave the world behind. This song mentions the fact there may those who would want us to go in a different direction, a direction away from Christ. Remember that Christ is the Living Way. One of the hardest things to do as we begin this year is to forget what is behind. Paul wrote to the Philippian Church urging them to forget what is behind so that they could strain toward what is ahead. Our lives are ahead of us. May we look to Christ that we may become His disciples. Pastor Steve

Check the website www.navigatethechange.com for information. Pastor Steve and Cathie Bollmann attended this event last year. Call the church office if you might be interested in attending. There is a discount for five or more attending from the same church. The church’s pastor is Shane Bishop.
