Renaissance specializes in underground utility construction and performs work primarily as a subcontractor on large transportation projects. The company is based in Fort Worth, but performs work throughout the state of Texas. It has completed contracts on several major transportation landmarks, including Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport’s Terminal D and Automated People Mover, Texas Department of Transportation’s IH 635 and US 75 Interchange (High Five) in Dallas County, and Dallas Area Rapid Transit’s CMGC3 (Green Line). It is proud of its large volume of repeat business over the years, and has enjoyed a working relationship with Zachry Construction Corporation since 1996. Central Texas Highway Constructors (CTxHC) awarded Renaissance a subcontract to install the storm drainage system on SH 130 Segments 5 and 6. Renaissance pouring a concrete deck on existing box culvert on Segment 5.1.
Renaissance installed 46,000 linear feet of box culvert and 42,000 linear feet of reinforced concrete pipe in a 13-month period, ahead of schedule. It attributes this high rate of production to its capable crews, and keen sense of scheduling on the part of its superintendent, Mr. Charlie Hewitt. Renaissance has also benefited from the assistance of Mr. Gary Doty, CTxHC’s Vice President of Construction, who has effectively communicated work activities on the critical path, and identified worksites that were available for storm drain installation along the project site. This allowed Renaissance to promptly mobilize crews to these worksites and utilize its resources efficiently. For more information about Renaissance Contractors Partnership, please call 817-430-0054.
