Contract Client Relations Specialist Position GCFA is presently seeking candidates for a contract position as Client Relations Specialist to be contracted through the end of 2017. This position is responsible for establishing trusted advisor relationships with the General Agencies, local churches, Annual Conferences and other constituents within the United Methodist connection. Works with clients to establish critical goals, or other key performance indicators and aid the client in achieving their goals. First point of contact for insurance clients, ensuring extraordinary service and resolving routine and sometimes difficult issues. Provides training to the local churches, Annual Conference trustees, and other entities on an as-needed basis. Acts as liaison between the client and GCFA to help resolve any issues that may arise. This position requires 50% travel.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
Understanding of The United Methodist Church structure is strongly preferred.
2-3 years customer service experience or equivalent history of increasing customer satisfaction, adoption, and retention.
Strong public speaking acumen.
Strong leadership skills.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Must have ability to work independently and as part of a team in a professional environment.
Sales background a plus.
Previous experience supporting customers in the insurance industry preferred.
Leadership experience in the United Methodist Church preferred.
Must have good communication and organization skills.
