Chief Financial Officer Job Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for ensuring all Student Government agencies, bureaus, entities, and organizations are using the Activity & Service Fees of the student body in a responsible and effective manner. Ø The Chief Financial Officer is allowed to work 20 hours per week.
Duties 1. Approve payment requests through OrgSync. 2. Serve as the executive appointee in the Budget Committee. 3. Oversee all budget operations in conjunction with the Coordinator of Fiscal Operations and CAB. 4. Oversee all contracts and agreements that consist of exchanging money with an organization. 5. Advise the President on all financial matters. 6. Perform any other duties under the discretion of the President.
Minimum Qualification Ø Ø Ø Ø
Must remain in good academic standing with the University of South Florida-Sarasota-Manatee Must be able to serve for a full term: Fall 2017- Spring 2018 Must list USFSM as home campus and take at least one class at USFSM each semester (Fall and Spring) Must have a minimum of a 2.0 GPA
