Nurse Medication is to be brought in only by parents or adults. Also, medication administration forms must be filled out for medication to be given.

Math Students will learn how to identify prime and composite numbers. Students will review how to multiply 3 digit factors by 2 digit factors. Be sure your child is fluent in their multiplication math facts!

Science In science we finished up measurement with a test on Monday. After which will discuss the scientific method before moving to matter. Please send trifold boards! Science Fair projects will be due Nov. 16!!

Fifth Grade Newsletter

Reading Every Monday we will be going to the library. Make sure each student brings their books to check in or recheck each week. This week in reading we will be covering the introduction of figurative language. The students will learn different types of figurative language and how they fit in with poetry structure and elements. Please remind your students to be reading each night for 30 minutes! It is a great way to improve skills.

Social Studies In Social Studies we will be covering Unit 1, European Exploration and Colonization. We also will be looking over tools for a map and how to read latitude and longitude.

Student Council News Our fifth grade student council has now been chosen!
