Considerations: The learning goal for this lesson is for students to apply what they have learned so far about place value. They are deepening their understanding of the value each digit of a number holds through visuals and discussions. Consider using a die or number cards for students to randomly find digits to make three-digit numbers. Then have them describe the values of the digits in the numbers they have created.

Steps: 1. Draw place value chart. 2. Write digits in correct place value column.
