GAME DAY The Colgate Raiders (2-2, PL 1-0) will close out their four-game homestand Saturday, when they play host to the undefeated Princeton Tigers (3-0, Ivy 1-0) in a non-conference game at Andy Kerr Stadium. Kickoff is 1:05 p.m. Both teams are in the same identical situation (record wise) as when they met last season at Princeton Stadium. Colgate opened its Patriot League season last Saturday with a 31-14 win over Georgetown, while Princeton was defeating Columbia, 19-6, in its Ivy League opener. This is Princeton's third game of the season against a Patriot League team, already beating Lehigh 14-10 and Lafayette 26-14. TICKETS Tickets for the Colgate-Princeton game are available at the Raider Ticket Office (315-228-7600). They are priced at $12 for reserved seats, $10.00 for general admission, and $5.00 for children in the general admission section. THE SERIES This is the 49th meeting between Colgate and Princeton with the Tigers leading the series, 25-22-1. The Tigers are 2-3 at Andy Kerr Stadium. Colgate has dominated the series since the turn of the century winning five of the six meetings including three straight. Last year, the Raiders came away with a 16-10 win at Princeton Stadium. In the Tigers' last appearance at Andy Kerr Stadium, Colgate won 29-26. COLGATE VS. IVY LEAGUE TEAMS Colgate has won 27 of its 32 games against Ivy League competition during the 11-year tenure under head coach Dick Biddle. The Raiders are also 13-1 at Andy Kerr Stadium against the Ivies under Biddle. The lone setback coming against Princeton in 1997, 31-28. 10 STRAIGHT WINNING SEASONS Colgate is one of seven Division I-AA programs sporting a streak of 10 or more winning seasons. The others are Eastern Kentucky (28), Montana (20), Dayton (13), Appalachian St. (12), Duquesne (12), and Western Kentucky (10). The Raiders have never had a losing season under head coach Dick Biddle. COLGATE HEAD COACH Colgate head coach Dick Biddle is in his 11th season with the Raiders. He has an overall record of 86-37 for a .699 winning percentage. He is the sixth winningest active Division I-AA coach. In 2003, he was named the American Football Coaches Association Division I-AA National Coach of the Year, and for three times in his career he has been Patriot League Coach of the Year. His winning percentage is the highest of any coach who has coached eight or more seasons in the Patriot League. He is the second winningest coach in school history. Biddle is the first Colgate coach to post 10 straight winning seasons and the first Colgate coach to record nine straight seasons with seven or more victories.

GALLIHUGH NAMED PL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Junior linebacker Mike Gallihugh (Midlothian, VA) has been named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Georgetown game. In the fourth quarter, Gallihugh recovered a pair fumbles on consecutive drives to shut down any Georgetown come back attempt. Earlier in the third quarter, he forced a fumble that led to a touchdown.

100-YARD RUSHING GAMES Jordan Scott rushed for 169 yards last Saturday against Georgetown to become the ninth player in school history with 10 or more games over 100 yards rushing. TWO-YEAR TOTAL Jordan Scott is closing in on the record for most rushing yardage by a Colgate running back in the first two seasons of a career. SCOTT NAMED TO WALTER PAYTON WATCH LIST Colgate sophomore tailback Jordan Scott is one of 16 players named to the “Payton Watch” list by The Sports Network. The 20th Walter Payton Award will be presented to the top player in I-AA football during the 2006 season. Colgate has two previous winners of the Walter Payton Award – Kenny Gamble (1987) and Jamaal Branch (2003). Scott is coming off a highly-decorated rookie season that saw him earn third team All-America honors, Patriot League Rookie of the Year, ECAC Rookie of the Year, and The Sports Network co-Rookie of the Year. He led the Patriot League in rushing with 320 carries for 1,364 yards and 10 touchdowns while leading Colgate to a share of the Patriot League title, and its seventh appearance in the I-AA playoffs.

FOUR COLGATE PLAYERS TABBED WITH PRESEASON ALL-AMERICA HONORS Football Gazette tabbed four Colgate football players for preseason All-America honors. BRANCH SIGNS WITH NEW ORLEANS SAINTS Former Colgate All-America running back and 2003 Walter Payton winner Jamaal Branch has been signed to the New Orleans Saints' practice squad THE SPORTS NETWORK for the 2006 season.
