Game Notes OPENING TIP Gettysburg looks to close the regular season on a high note and set the stage for a strong postseason run today against Ursinus. ALL-TIME SERIES The Bullets hold a 43-26 lead over Ursinus in the all-time series that dates back to 1916-17. Gettysburg has captured five of the last seven meetings. LAST MEETING WITH URSINUS Sophomores Alex Kaslander and Cam Stewart scored 20 points apiece, leading the Bullets to a 65-59 victory at Ursinus back on Jan. 14. Gettysburg trailed by as much as 12 midway through the first half but closed the period on an 18-0 run and would lead the rest of the way. Kaslander keyed the rally with 10 points, including eight in a row at one point. Sophomore guard Matt England added his first career double-double with 10 points and a career-high 11 rebounds for Gettysburg while junior forward Cody Kiefer grabbed eight rebounds and dished out six assists. Brian Rafferty scored 18 points to lead Ursinus while Remi Janicot posted nine points and 14 rebounds for the Bears. LAST TIME OUT Gettysburg led wire-to-wire in a 58-46 victory at McDaniel on Saturday. Gettysburg canned 50 percent of its shots from the floor, while the Green Terror managed a shooting percentage of just 31.6. Junior Tanner Kirkpatrick dropped in 13 points and grabbed eight boards, while classmate Cody Kiefer and senior Kevin Gladstone each turned in a dozen tallies. The victory clinched a playoff spot for the Bullets.

SENIOR DAY Prior to the start of today’s game Gettysburg’s lone senior - Kevin Gladstone - will be honored in a brief ceremony. After two years serving primarily as a reserve in the frontcourt, Gladstone emerged as a consistent and dependable member of the starting lineup, appearing in 48 games with 44 starts over the last two campaigns. He was an All-Centennial Conference Second Team pick last season and he is currently leading the Bullets with 12.7 points per game this winter. His career field-goal percentage of 56.6 ranks second in program history. PLAYOFF BOUND There’s no remaining mystery to the Centennial playoff picture heading into tonight’s game. The Bullets seized a playoff spot with the win over McDaniel and the team will welcome the Green Terror to Bream Gym for the first round on Wednesday. The two teams also squared off in the opening round last season with Gettysburg pulling off a 53-45 win. Franklin & Marshall secured hosting rights for the semifinals and championship, while Swarthmore and Dickinson will also join the fray as the second and third seeds, respectively. Times for the playoff contests will be announced tomorrow. SCOUTING URSINUS  Ursinus fell to Muhlenberg 81-72 on Saturday. Malik Draper and Matt Williams each posted 17 points, while Mark Wonderling grabbed 10 boards.  Ursinus is the only team in the Centennial Conference with five players averaging double-figures. With leading scorer Matt Knowles missing the last 11 contests, Malik Draper has shouldered the offensive load. Over the last nine games, Draper has averaged 15.6 points per game.
