MATERIALS Simply Soft

Plastic clothes hanger. Scissors. Double stick tape. Blunt yarn needle.
GAUGE Not applicable.
INSTRUCTIONS Wrap double stick tape around outside edge of the hanger, leaving ends untaped. Make sure the whole outside surface is covered. Wind one color or yarn smoothly and loosely around hanger starting at center hook. Do not wind tightly or it will warp the hanger. Press the yarn firmly against the tape. Make yarn strands lay flat next to each other but not overlapping. Repeat Step 2 for second half of hanger. Cut 2 strands of second color each 72"/183cm long. Thread both strands through the yarn needle.
Beginning at one end of hanger, weave over and under several threads through all layers. At the opposite end, flip the hanger over and weave under and over the same holes, but in the opposite direction. Repeat the weaving until the center section of the hanger is filled up. Add more yarn for weaving as needed, hiding ends in the center of the weaving.
