TASI ended the month at 7425.72 points, an 8.1% Increase MoM compared to May 2017. Total value traded stood at SAR 54.71bn. Basic Materials and Banks sectors accounted for 55.0% of the total value traded. Food & Beverages and Banks were the best performing sectors, showing an increase of 16.2%MoM and 12.9%MoM respectively. While REITs and Media sectors were the worst performers showing a decline of 6.2%MoM and 3.6%MoM respectively.

On other hand, Transportation and Media were the worst performing sectors recording a decline of 23.9% and 20.4% respectively.
