COACH DiSERAFINO FACILITIES Mirenda Center for Sport, Spirituality and Character Development A state-of-the-art facility that serves as home to the university’s 22 NCAA teams. The men’s and women’s basketball teams and the volleyball team play home games in the main gymnasium, which seats approximately 1,200 spectators. The 72,000-square-foot building includes a grand foyer with impressive exhibits that feature five themes that connect sports to the Franciscan tradition: Play, Respect, Beauty, Balance and Reflection. The Mirenda Center houses the “Institute for Sport Spirituality and Character Development®”, the Athletic Department and a fully equipped fitness center and cardio room.

The Bruder Athletic Fields are located in close proximity to the Mirenda Center and the residence halls. The men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s lacrosse and field hockey teams play on a lighted turf field that has seating for more than 400 fans. The Bruder baseball and softball fields were renovated for the 2013 season with seating for fans, press boxes and spacious dugouts.

2016-17 SEASON PREVIEW The Neumann University women’s golf team returns for its second season as a varsity squad in 2016-17. Returning this season for Neumann are seniors Julia Fair and Chelsea Polidoro. Both players saw their games steadily improve last season and will look to get even better this season. Fair has been selected to captain the 2016-17 team. Also returning for the Knights is junior Brittany Naimoli. Neumann opens up their season on September 27th as they head to the Ursinus College Fall One Day Invitational at Raven’s Claw Golf Club in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.

Ice Works of Aston, a 1,000 seat facility one mile from campus, serves as home for the men’s and women’s ice hockey teams. IceWorks has four ice surfaces, a full-service restaurant and bar, full-service pro shop, arcade and banquet/party rooms. The ice hockey teams have their own private locker rooms while the coaches have an office available at the rink.

Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Memorial Courts The men’s and women’s tennis teams play on the lighted Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Fund Memorial Courts. The complex holds four courts.

Coach DiSerafino begins her second season at the helm of the women’s golf program for the 2016-17 season. The Knights competed for the first time as a varsity team during the 2015-16 season. Lauren Cusack won the Ursinus Invitational to lead the Knights in their first varsity season. The women’s golf team started as a club sport during the 2014-15 season with Cusack as its sole player. The word quickly spread and the team grew to four as the team turned varsity. DiSerafino is hoping to build the team further and represent Neumann in the CSAC and NCAA tournaments. DiSerafino is a freelance graphic designer with 28 years in the industry. Working with large and small companies she has developed a client base that she assists on projects utilizing her knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and page layout programs. She is also the general manager of her husband Steve’s business, Pappone’s Pizzeria, handling all aspects of a family owned and operated business. DiSerafino earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Visual Communications from the University of Delaware in 1988. She is active in her community of Middletown Township and sits on the Business Association Board. Tracey has also sat on Student Affairs Committee at Neumann University for the past three years. She and her husband are active parishioners of St. Joseph’s Church in Aston. They have two children, Will and Tessa, and reside in Middletown Township.
