2016 SEASON PREVIEW The 2016 women’s soccer team will look to bounce back from an up and down 2015 season and get back to the CSAC playoffs. With a solid group of returners and a wealth of talented incoming players, expectations will be much higher this season. Leading the attack for the Knights will be senior Jamie King who led the team with seven goals last season. Junior Kahlyn Ford and sophomore Lindsay Padilla will also be asked to provide a scoring punch for Neumann. The midfield for Neumann will be led by seniors Lexi Casper (3 goals) and Brooke Harvey. Defensively, the team will rely upon sophomores Kristina Yocum and Taylor Garman, both of whom started every game in which they played for the Knights last season. In net, the Knights will be backstopped by the pair of junior Kristen Montgomery and freshman Anna Attardi. In addition to Attardi, Neumann should also receive contributions from a number of freshmen. This talented group of rookies includes: Danni Elman, Ashley McNabb, Summer Sides, Grace Stauffer and Savannah Stichler. Neumann’s season will get underway on September 1st as they host Penn State Abington.

The Bruder Athletic Fields are located in close proximity to the Mirenda Center and the residence halls. The men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s lacrosse and field hockey teams play on a lighted turf field that has seating for more than 400 fans.
