There is none like you, O Lord, nor are there any works like yours.
People:
All the nations you have made shall come and bow down before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name.
Pastor:
For you are great and do wondrous things. You alone are God!
Responding in Song | Revelation Song & Blessed Be Your Name Confession of Sin | Gabe Yoder He gives and He takes away. It is often in these situations that our “core”, our true self, is revealed and exposed. We either turn to him in praise or we turn to ourselves and our empty idols of family, work, Facebook, the stuff in our houses…the list goes on. Over the course of this past week, all of us have strayed from His commandments in one way or another. 1 John 1:8-9 says, “If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” But he doesn’t end there, John goes on saying, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” As we sing together this next song, may this good news transform our hearts to praise His mighty name.
