Production Operatives - Job Ref No HST261 Who we are looking for We are looking for energetic and self-motivated Production Operatives to work within the manufacturing/operations division. As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of production activities and manufacturing processes to produce high quality product at a high volume and within tight deadlines. You’ll usually work as part of a team under the supervision of a team leader, carrying out several tasks within your working day. You will perform to the best of your ability within the production team, treating other members of staff with dignity and respect.

Job Summary To manufacture assemblies and sub-assemblies to the highest possible quality level and in accordance with manufacturing work instructions

To construct assemblies, sub-assemblies and units in accordance with Work Instruction

To perform other such operations on Product for which appropriate training/instruction has been given

To keep work areas tidy and organised at all times To observe Anti-Static precautions at all times on the production floor and to ensure that visitors to the production area either observe such precautions themselves or are prevented from handling product To observe all safety precautions particular to operation undertaken and to use such protective garments 6 or aids as provided for the purpose To exercise vigilance in respect of defective materials or product and to report any such defects observed 7 immediately to the Production Supervisor or Operations Manager To attend such training as provided and required to perform duties whether in relation to operations or 8 Quality 9 To be aware of the Quality imperative in all aspect of work Maintain awareness of the Company Health & Safety Policy and Fire Evacuation Procedure and take all 10 reasonable precautions against personal harm or injury 11 To understand and apply the Company Quality Procedures and contribute to change as required To supply kits of material to production in accordance with procedure H001-003-045 following suitable 12 training Any other duties deemed necessary by the Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager, Production and & Stores Supervisor, Production Team Leaders or General Manager/Site Leader Note: This description is not intended to establish a total definition of the job, but an outline of the duties.
