SATURDAY WORKSHOP FUN WITH THE MINI HEX ‘N MORE—This mini ruler has so much potential and is great for 1 1/2” and 2 1/2” strips, as well as charm packs. Choose from any of Jaybird Designs new patterns and make a mini quilt in this all day workshop. We will also cover layering your quilt and machine binding tricks. Sewing machine required. April 8 5:30-8pm $20 BEGINNING QUILTING - If you’ve ever had the desire to learn to make a quilt but didn’t know where to start, this is the class for you! Learn everything you need to know to “get you on your way” to successful quilt making in this four-week class. Start with fabric selection, rotary cutting, strip piecing and finish with layering and binding - plus tips and tricks to use on future projects. This class specializes in handson instruction and individual attention. Sewing machine required.

May 6 & 13 6-8pm $30 LEARN TO HAND EMBROIDER—Learn basic embroidery stitches, how to transfer designs, what floss to use and more. Hand embroidery is a great, portable project and lots of fun! May 15 5:30-7pm $10 HOW TO GET THE MOST FROM YOUR SEWING MACHINE— This class will show you how to use the decorative stitches and feet that came with your machine plus tips to get the most out of your machine. June 2 & 9 6-8pm $30 BEYOND BEGINNING QUILTING - This class expands on your skills by learning to square up blocks, the importance of accurate piecing and cutting plus other quilting skills. June 3, 10 & 17 6:00-8:00pm $45 MAIL SACK—This great cross-body bag is a wonderful basic sewing project and the perfect bag to make for your favorite person going off to school or on vacation. This technique is sturdier and faster than sewing your bindings by hand and a great way to feature a decorative stitch. Sewing machine required. Teacher—Cindy Peters Thurs. June 19 6:00-8:00pm —$20 PET SCREEN TOTE—This simple and addictive tote uses the vinyl mesh and fun fabrics. Add webbing or fabric handles and learn how to modify the size and embellish

SERGER CLASSES RUFFLED DISHTOWEL— This cute project uses your serger’s differential feed and rolled hem to show how easy it is to make and apply ruffles. A serger with at least 4 threads is required. You must be able to thread your serger and change stitches. Teacher—Cindy Peters Wed. April 9 6:00-8:00pm—$20 ONE HOUR SIMPLE SERGER DRESS— This adorable little child’s dress is made from one yard of your favorite fabric. Wear with a turtle neck and tights, or as an easy spring or summer dress in warmer weather. A 5 thread serger or 4 thread serger and sewing machine required. You must be able to thread your serger and change stitches. Teacher—Cindy Peters Thurs. April 17 6:00-8:00pm—$20 SERGING FOR BABYLOCK OWNERS This two week class is the perfect follow up to your owners classes. Classes have a minimum of 4 students and refunds are available up to one week before the first class session. In fairness to the teachers and other students who have purchased their supplies, we are unable to make refunds after that time. Supplies are needed for all classes and a supply list will be furnished when you register. The class fee covers instruction only, but there is a 10% discount on all supplies needed for the class. Materials for classes at Quilter’s Cupboard must be purchased at Quilter’s Cupboard so that we can remain in business to keep offering you more great classes! MONTHLY CLUBS MACHINE EMBROIDERY CLUB
-NEW SESSION STARTS IN APRILThis club meets every month on the 1st Thurs. at 10:30 am or 6 pm. I'm very excited to have found a lady in Canada who has created the Sew Creative Embroidery Club. Each Sew Creative Embroidery Club project includes two or more coordinating, beautifully digitized embroidery designs. Projects feature fun and interesting embroidery techniques, creative sewing techniques and a variety of embroidery accessories and notions. Our club will be a lecture/demo format, since many of you have said hauling your embroidery machines to the store every month was just too hard! A 6 month membership is $72, BUT if you've bought your Babylock Embroidery machine from Quilter's Cupboard, IT’S ONLY $60. Pre-registration is required.
GROOVY GIRLS CLUB
-NEW SESSION STARTS IN APRILThis very popular club is back for another session, and the fun continues. We focus on projects that are fun, easy and make us happy. Cindy will show you new techniques, fabrics, patterns and each month and you might even get a free pattern. Club lasts about 1 hour and meets 1st Friday of the month at 10:30 am $25 FOR 6 months.
STITCHERY CLUB Hand embroidery is really popular again and our club is the perfect place to get back into it. Our projects include stitchery and wool designs and beginners are always welcome. We love to show you how to embroider! Bring a project you’ve gotten from us, or we’ll help you pick out something new. Each month we will share new projects and techniques. The meeting will be the 2nd Thursday of the month at 5:30 pm and last 1 1/2 hours for extra stitching time! No charge, just call to reserve your spot.
