The Costa Mesa Campus was the first of the six ROCKHARBOR campuses with a strong 17-year history. Through weekend celebration services, Life Groups, local and global engagement, and church planting, our vision is to be a church of communities following Jesus as we worship, pray, and love others in Orange County and beyond. About Life Groups ministry Life Groups are the heartbeat and the primary way we aim to pastor and disciple the ROCKHARBOR community. These groups exist to encourage one another to grow in relationship with Jesus and seek to put the Gospel on display in their neighborhoods and cities. Groups meet weekly to share life together and focus on what it means to live lives that are marked by worship, prayer, and life of mission to Orange County and beyond.
About the position This position is a part-time [20 hours/week] permanent position. This position reports to the Life Groups Pastor. Staff members are expected to adhere to rockharbor’s leadership guidelines [which can be provided upon request]. ROCKHARBOR Church Life Groups Administrator Job duties: Point Administrative duties for Life Groups (Neighborhood, Men’s & Women’s) o Process any inquires and coordinate connecting process for life groups and manage myRH process queues. o Serve as communication liaison for announcements to Life Group Leaders and church-wide announcements (weekly, e-bulletin, social media) and any weekend patio presence o Coordinate Life Groups content, seek out stories and manage communication for social media o Serve as facilities liaison for reserving rooms for all meetings, trainings and events o Manage volunteer lists, leadership teams, group rosters and email distribution lists o Assist with administration of Life Group’s care and maintenance structure, including equipping, care and appreciation o Work closely with front door/assimilation department to coordinate Life Group station and connecting process including launches, LG Central and any incoming inquiries. o Coordinate and ensure set up is provided for all Life Group trainings and events o Coordinate all Life Group Pastor, Shepherd and Leader meetings/interviews and track leadership documents o Process all volunteer documents, including applications and background checks Qualifications 1-3 years of administrative experience Strong computer skills (PC :: Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook) Self-starter, assertive, and efficient Intimate and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ Leadership, organizational and time management skills Cooperative and servant attitude Team player Strong communications and discretionary skills Willing to support policies and leadership of ROCKHARBOR
