SCHEDULE/RESULTS

TODAY’S GAME NOTES The Saint Francis softball team continues its NEC schedule this weekend, hosting Robert Morris on Friday and visiting Mount St. Mary’s on Saturday. The Red Flash is 31-9 overall after sweeping doubleheaders against LIU Brooklyn and Bucknell earlier this week. SFU is 4-0 in the NEC.. RED HOT FLASH With its doubleheader sweeps over LIU Brooklyn (9-1 and 2-1) and Bucknell (3-2 and 7-2), the Red Flash has won 19 of its last 20 games, with its last two losses coming in extra innings against Tulsa (3-1 in eight innings on March 3) and Pitt (8-3 in nine innings on April 5). SFU’s loss against Pitt snapped a program-record 15-game win streak, but SFU has quickly put together a new four-game win streak, its third streak of four or more wins this season. With 31 wins this year, SFU is just three shy of the school-record set last season. SETTING RECORDS

SCOUTING THE COLONIALS Robert Morris is 12-23 this season, including 5-1 in the NEC, after splitting a doubleheader against LIU Brooklyn last weekend. Sophomore Laura Coulter has a team-best 23 appearances with a 3-11 record. She has a 5.74 ERA in 81.2 innings.

Senior Ketarah DeVries picked up the win in Game Two of SFU’s doubleheader sweep at Bucknell on Tuesday. It was DeVries’ eighth win this sesaon and the 46th of her career. She is now the all-time wins leader at Saint Francis after breaking a tie with Laura Caldwell (2006-09) for first. As a team, the Red Flash stole four bases on Tuesday, raising its season total to 73. That is tied for the program record, set in 2014. SFU is just 12 stolen bases shy of the NEC record, set by UMBC in 1999 and 2000.
