The Kamloops Blazers are proud to once again host the Kamloops Blazers Hockey School from August 11th through 15th, 2013. The school is open to both boys and girls from Initiation/Novice to Pee Wee and will feature instruction from members of the Kamloops Blazers coaching staff, power skating instructor Nina Hrycewich, and current and former Kamloops Blazers players.

Each player will receive quality instruction, minimum 2 hours of ice time per day, and activities on and off the ice. A lunch program will be provided for the participants and is included in the registration fee. You can register at the Kamloops Blazers Administration Office or by calling (250) 828-1144. Completed registration forms can be faxed to (250) 828-7822 or sent in by mail. Payment can be made to the Kamloops Blazers Hockey Club by credit card, post dated cheques (all must be included with your registration form) or cash.

REGISTRATION EARLY BIRD RATE: Registrations paid in full by December 20, 2013 will receive an early bird rate of $400 (includes tax). Cost for the Blazers Hockey School after December 20th is $450.00 (includes tax). Entire balance must be paid to secure a spot.

Off-Ice Programs Over two hours of off ice instruction will include detailed training techniques, nutrition, and the importance of stretching. Participants will also be learning to respect team mates and coaches and understand the importance of being respectful. There will be an introduction to core training, stretching, and nutrition, as well as off ice games related to hockey skills. Many of the activities will allow the participants to use the learned skills and information year round. Dropping by will be guest speakers such as the local RCMP who will help to encourage, educate, develop, grow, and stress the importance of making smart choices in both hockey and life. Daily classroom sessions will feature instruction with fun and educational learning material related to hockey.
