Zeta Tau Alpha Gainesville, GA Alumnae Chapter Happy December! Our service project this month is with Lift Up Atlanta’s Community Closet. We are collecting clothing, shoes, household goods, personal hygiene items and other basic items for needy families of metro Atlanta. Items will be donated at Scotty’s Thrifty Storage in Norcross, GA. If you have any questions, please contact Missy Murphy Goodman at [email protected]. You can also visit www.liftupatlanta.org/our-projects/ for more information regarding donations and what they need. Just a reminder, we are having our Ornament Exchange and watching a Christmas Play on December 4th. The Ornament Exchange will be at 1 PM at Missy Murphy Goodman’s house. Everyone is more than welcome to bring food or drinks to share. If you are unable to attend, we hope you have a Merry Christmas! For January, we are planning to have a get together at Masterpiece Mixers. For February we are planning to have a Galentine’s Day dinner together. We sent out a survey for everyone regarding the upcoming events that will be planned for the Spring. If you have not already, please fill it out. We would love to hear your feedback.

Outstanding Alumna for December:
BJ Williams Our Outstanding Alumna for the month of December is BJ Williams! Over the years she has proven to be a true Zeta Lady. She has always been involved with the Gainesville, GA Alumnae Chapter and helped the Omicron Chapter at Brenau. BJ pledged Zeta at Brenau College in 1978. She has held numerous positions including: District President, Alumnae Chapter President, Vice President, Historian, Omicron’s General Advisor, Membership Advisor, and the Key Woman for the district for over two decades. BJ received her Honor Ring in 1992 when Convention was hosted in Atlanta (see picture above). She has also received her Certificate of Merit. This year BJ is the Gainesville Alumnae Secretary and the Philanthropy Advisor for Omicron. She has been a vital part of the success of both groups. Thank you for everything you do for us! Zeta Love and Mine!
