The Eagles were down 14 to the Regents at halftime on Saturday but chipped away at their lead and trailed by only eight on a couple of occasions late in the second. Radisevic’s 11 points and seven rebounds led the Eagles on the day while Arik Anderson also scored 11. Adam Freitag and Sy Staver were right behind that duo with nine points apiece. The Eagles had their hands full throughout Tuesday night’s matchup in Mequon against CUW. The Falcons raced out to a 29-12 lead early but the Eagles would bring it back to a 10-point game minutes later. The Falcons scored seven-straight points toward the end of the first half and would lead by at least 20 throughout most of the second. Emilio Lopez had 14 points, seven of which came in a twominute span, to lead the team while Anderson had 10.

About the Sabres Marian University is 2-1 in the month of January, with both of those wins coming in overtime. The Sabres beat Lakeland 8781 in OT on the road and took down MSOE at home by a score of 100-96 on Tuesday. Junior forward Josh Creed leads the team and is seventh in the NACC in scoring at 17.8 points per game. Senior guard Carvell Oliver has been hot from deep so far this season and is sixth in the league in three-point percentage (44.2). As a team the Sabres average the fewest turnovers in the NACC (10.3).

A MESSAGE FROM HEAD COACH

JUSTIN MEYER

Support from the Eagle Booster Club has played a significant role in the success of our program, which has earned 12 conference championships and three NCAA Division III National Tournament appearances. During my time here at Edgewood College, the Eagles have won four conference titles and played in seven conference championship games. In 2015 we reached the NACC semifinals for the fourth time in the last five years. We have also played in three of the last five NACC championship games. Now beginning my 13th full season, I am very excited about the upcoming season. I feel very fortunate and honored to be part of a program with such a storied history, and a loyal and dedicated fan base. Having a young and hungry team this year, I truly feel we are ready to carry on the Eagle tradition and bring home another conference championship and a return to the NCAA Tournament. This off season has seen lots of hard work, sweat, and dedication from our team in hopes of it paying off in February. Our program continues to attract high-quality student-athletes who strive to do their best both on the court and in the classroom. Last season we had a team GPA of over 3.0 once again, and also had over 400 hours of community service. Our players know they represent everyone who has ever worn an Eagle uniform or attended our fine institution. Now, we invite your support to share in our quest to bring home another championship to Edgewood College. By becoming an Eagle Booster you can be confident you are investing in a first class program by providing our studentathletes with apparel, meals, and special travel opportunities. This year we will be travelling to play D-I Bradley University in an exhibition game and a tournament in Wisconsin Dells. In the Dells, we will be playing 2015 national runner-up, Augustana College. Experiences like these offer our student-athletes a once in a life time experience, but hey also come with a steep price tag. This season all Booster Club donations will go towards apparel and travel needs with the goal of having our student-athletes contribute as little as possible for these experiences. Please take time to read about the Booster Club and all the wonderful things it does for our student-athletes. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me to learn more. Thank you for your support and Go Eagles! Sincerely, Justin Meyer, Head Coach [email protected] 608.663.6703 @ECEagles_BBall
