GRAMMAR
Modal Verbs ‘Can’, ‘may’ and ‘must’ are present tense modal verbs
They can be used to talk about permission. Modal verbs can only be used with a verb.

He can speak French. She may not come to the party.
GRAMMAR
Modal Verbs ‘Can’, and ‘may’ are also used to show that something is possible/ not possible.
I cannot speak English. She may not leave the table.
We use ‘must’ when something has to He must try harder. happen/ not happen. She must be home at 12.
