TWO TERRIERS TAPPED FOR OLYMPICS • Former Terrier standouts Marie-Philip Poulin (‘15) and Jenn Wakefield (‘12) will represent Canada at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games. • This will be the third straight Olympics at which Poulin will skate for Canada, while Wakefield will be participating at her second consecutive Olympic Winter Games. • Both alumnae won gold in 2014, with Poulin also claiming gold in 2010. • During the recent six-game series against the United States, Poulin led all skaters with four goals and tied for the tournament lead with five points. • Wakefield scored a goal and added an assist. WHAT A FIRST HALF FOR BACH • Senior Victoria Bach entered 2018 as the nation’s leading goal scorer. • She tallied 23 goals in 19 games during the first half of the season, averaging an NCAA-best 1.21 goals per game while also generating an impressive 6.32 shots on goal per game. • Bach was also third in the nation with 40 points thanks to 17 assists. • The National Player of the Month in November, Bach currently is second the country in two-goal games (6) while leading the nation in hat tricks (3) and four-goal games (2). • An NCAA-best 14 of her 23 goals have

come on the road, while no other player has scored more at even strength (17) or shorthanded (3). DECEMBER TO REMEMBER • Senior Victoria Bach narrowly missed out on a second straight Hockey East Player of the Month honor, finishing as runner-up for December. • This was despite Bach leading the conference in both goals (6) and points (9) in just four games. • Bach’s six goals and nine points were also tops among all NCAA players that skated against only Division I competition in December. LESLIE KEEPS ON ROLLING • Senior captain Rebecca Leslie is in the midst of a terrific stretch of games. • She extended her point streak to 10 games (9g, 15a) with three assists at Providence on Dec. 9. • That was the ninth straight game in which Leslie notched at least two points, which is the nation’s longest active multi-point streak. • She has tallied 15 goals and 21 assists for 36 total points this year.

2017-18 boston university Women’s ice hockey @TerrierWHockey MORE ON LESLIE’S TERRIFIC YEAR • Senior captain Rebecca Leslie is fifth in the nation with 36 points, though she ranks fourth among skaters that only compete against Division I opponents. • Her 21 assists are tied for fourth in the NCAA entering this weekend. • Leslie has notched at least two assists in seven different games this year, a mark surpassed by only two others. • All 36 of her points have come in her last 15 games. DYNAMIC DUO • Since Nov. 10, seniors Victoria Bach and Rebecca Leslie have been the most prolific point producers in the country. • Bach leads the nation in goals (18) and points (27) while Leslie is second in points (25) and first with 16 assists. • Bach has averaged 2.70 points per game and 1.80 goals per game in that span, while Leslie has averaged 1.60 assists per game and 2.50 PPG. • Both players have tallied a point in all 10 games in which they have appeared, with Leslie having recorded at least two points in nine straight contests. • The duo has maintained these rankings despite playing in one fewer game than the next-best pair of skaters and with the possibility of missing two more games this weekend. BACH SCORING AT HISTORIC PACE • Senior Victoria Bach became the fastest Terrier to 20 goals in program history, achieving that feat in just her 18th game of the season. • Bach is also the first Terrier to score 20 goals in four different seasons. • She is just five goals away from surpassing Sarah Lefort (‘16) for most goals at BU; Lefort lit the lamp 92 times in her storied career. RECAPPING THE PROVIDENCE GAME • Seniors Victoria Bach (2g, 1a) and Rebecca Leslie (3a) each notched three points, but the Terriers were edged, 6-5, at No. 8/10 Providence on Dec. 9. • BU fell behind, 3-0, after one period but two goals from Bach, including a shorthanded strike, cut the deficit to 3-2 after 40 minutes. • The teams traded goals to begin the final frame before Providence tallied twice more to take a 6-3 lead. • Junior Mary Grace Kelley and redshirt

sophomore Abbey Stanley each potted an extra-attacker goal during an extended BU power play to get the Terriers within one, but they could not find an equalizer. • Freshman Nara Elia notched a goal and an assist while sophomore Abby Cook and freshman Jesse Compher each collected two assists. • Freshman goaltender Corinne Schroeder started and made 11 saves during the first period. • Senior Erin O’Neil played the final two periods and stopped 17 shots. BACH NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK • Senior Victoria Bach was named Hockey East Player of the Week on Dec. 11 after she led the NCAA with six goals and seven points over two games. • Bach lit the lamp four times in a 5-2 win at Yale on Dec. 7 before scoring twice more and adding an assist at Providence on Dec. 9. • She was the only skater in the country to score two goals in two different games during that week. RECAPPING THE WIN AT YALE • Senior Victoria Bach scored four goals in a 5-2 win at Yale on Dec. 7. • The Terriers took a 3-0 lead into the final frame before Yale tallied twice. • Redshirt sophomore Abbey Stanley’s goal with 1:36 to play made it 4-2 before Bach added an empty-netter. • Freshman Corinne Schroeder made 30 saves. • Senior captain Rebecca Leslie added two assists to join Stanley (1g, 1a) with a multiple-point night. • Junior Mary Grace Kelley, sophomore Breanna Scarpaci and freshman Nara Elia all added an assist apiece. ANOTHER FOUR GOALS FOR BACH • Senior Victoria Bach continued her outstanding season on Thursday with the second four-goal effort of the year. • Bach is the only NCAA player with three hat tricks and two four-goal games this season. • All three of her hat tricks have come away from home; two were on the road and one was at a neutral site.
