1) New Business a. Minutes i) Minutes from the January meeting were approved. Minutes are posted on the FTSA website. b. Registration Form i) One change to the 2015 registration form: players who secure a sponsor are exempt from fundraising. ii) The form was approved by the board. c. Financial Audit i) The Treasurer is looking for a volunteer to conduct an audit of 2014 finances. All information for the audit is prepared. Cathy Anthony will look for a volunteer. d. 2015 Budget i) The budget was approved as presented. e. Boy Scout 100th Anniversary i) The FTSA would like to recognize the 100th anniversary of the Florence/Roebling Boy Scout troop. Two suggestions were made to the board: (1) The Boy Scout logo would be added, at no cost to FTSA, to the shoulder of the uniform shirts for the 2015 season; and (2) Have banners created that could be posted at the Marter and Vets complexes. ii) The board voted and approved the banners. They will be ready for the fall season. Cathy Anthony will reach out to the Boy Scout contact for further details. 2) Old Business a. 501(c)3 i) The process is moving forward. The FTSA must have three trustees in place to receive the taxexempt status. Currently two of the spaces are filled. FTSA is seeking a third trustee. Two individuals have volunteered in the instance a third trustee cannot be found. 3) Vice President Report a. By-Law Review i) The first review will take place in February with a second meeting in March. The by-laws will be presented to the executive board for review in April. ii) Bill Anthony has proposed amending the by-laws to include an opt-out provision for travel players ages U11 and U12. These players would still be considered part of the FTSA program and would be responsible for registration fees. The travel coaches would be responsible for reporting those players opting out to the FTSA board.

2 b. 2015 Opening Day/Photos i) The official opening day for the FTSA 2015 season is Saturday, September 12 th. (1) Photos will take place during the day; (2) Opening Day activities will take place during the evening; (a) Drill/events run by the high school players; (b) 1st parent coaches game; (c) Vendors, food, etc. 4) President Report a. Transition Plans i) All transition plans are due to the FTSA secretary. A few plans are still missing. b. Little Kicks soccer program is moving forward as planned. c. The charity game for Thomas Floyd, Jr. has been postponed until further notice. While grateful for the thought, the family respectfully requests no further activities at this time. 5) Training Coordinator Report a. Practice Fields i) Veteran’s field is open for practice for the spring as well as the football practice field. b. Training Opportunities i) The FTSA would like to continue training for both coaches and players. The training coordinator will explore training opportunities for the spring and summer. 6) Treasurer Report a. Travel Team Budgets: Flames (+942) Fury (-419) Rebels (+802) Renegades (+269)

b. Recreation Budget i) Very few transactions in the recreation budget. Getting ready for expenditures for fall season . ii) Materials are ready for the audit. c. Spring Fees i) Spring fees will be collected from travel teams by March 15, 2015. The fees will include field usage and lights. ii) Those teams wishing to use the field for summer training will be assessed $125 plus $30 if using for scrimmages. Lighted fields will be available for summer training. 7) Field Coordinator Report a. Field Day i) Field Day is scheduled for Saturday, February 28th to line fields and set up nets at the Marter Complex. ii) Bill Anthony is requesting three people from each team attend field day.

3 iii) Bill Anthony will be walking the fields at Vets and Marter with D’Imperio to determine field maintenance needs. He will also meet with Tim Lutz to discuss drainage solutions at M2. iv) John Swanson asked for a key for the gate at M1. The gate should be locked to prevent someone from driving a vehicle on the field.
