NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT

2012-2013 Board Members President Carol Hannah, CAP [email protected] Vice President Baisha Woody [email protected] Corresponding Secretary Linda Hollingsworth, CAP [email protected]

Recording Secretary June Bearden, CAP [email protected] Treasurer Pat Presley, CAP [email protected]

We had a great meeting at the Pitman Theatre for our October Membership Drive. We had four (4) guests and as I understand three (3) have joined. I consider that a success story. I want to welcome our new members, Malisa Shannon, Holly Elliott and Deborah Davis. We have some great meetings coming up in the near feature. Continue to seek new members and share IAAP with them. Remember, guests are welcome at any meeting. Remember our theme this year is “Be The One.” Are you the one to have each guest you invite join our organization? It is important to be a part of a professional organization such as IAAP. The Office Pro magazine, which is free with paid membership, has very informative information and office tips. It is even more important to make new contacts to learn new techniques and shortcuts on old techniques. We have at least one seminar a year at which we offer additional technical training that you can use in your office. Meeting new people is always fun and can be very beneficial both professionally and personally!
