General Meeting Minutes 27 February 2017 / 7:00 PM / West Campus HS Library
Board Members Present Gary Kinshofer, Nick Caruso, Tiffany Schwall, Dan Helios, Marci Bock, Jen Lehst, Sandy Lidbury, Michelle Bowers, Jenny LaRose and Karen Smiesko
Board Members Absent Kevin Keyfauver, and Scott Morton(via phone)

Proceedings ●
7:07pm meeting called to order by President Gary Kinshofer.
●
Minutes from 1/23/17 meeting approved.
●
Attendees that were present welcomed to speak.
Old Business ●
2016 printed financial actuals presented and reviewed.
●
13 sets of equipment still need to be returned.
●
Multiple Coaches equipment bags need to be returned also.
●
2017 Online Registration:Early now-3/15 $275, Regular 3/16-4/29 $300, Late 5/1-6/1 $350.
New Business ●
Helmet Fitting: 4/8 from 10am-2pm or 4/29 from 8am-12pm at East Campus Gym. Mandatory yearly concussion screening for 10yr olds and up will be done at this time(FREE).
●
Looking for 7 on 7 Coaches/Players. All LY coaches will be emailed the flyer. Games will be played at Stevenson, Carmel, and Grayslake HS.
●
All coaches applications(on website) need to be submitted by April 29, 2017. Head coaches will be interviewed by Coaching Committee and BOD will vote after hearing committee recommendations.
●
Big 10 Head Coaches will be announced 2nd week of May.
●
Coaches Meetings will be 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. Mandatory for Head Coaches!
●
VP forming By-Law Committee. Look for emails.
●
Fundraising looking for committee members to help chair events. Ideas thrown out: Mother/Son event, Dodgeball Tourney, McHenry Mom’s vs Huntley Mom’s flag fball game, MJWYF Kickoff Day(games, Dunk Tank, spiritwear, Jumpy’s)
●
Starting FAQ page on Website. Email league Secretary any suggestions.
