MEC First Round Game Wednesday, March 1st…………………………………6:00 p.m. Charleston Civic Center……….Charleston, West Virginia The Matchup The# 7seeded Pioneers will take on the #10 seeded UVa-Wise Cavaliers on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the first round of the MEC Tournament. GSC and UVa-Wise spilt the season series this year with both teams winning on their rd home court. GSC took the first matchup on Dec. 3 82-74 with Brett Morris posting a double-double scoring 25 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. UVath Wise won the second matchup on Feb. 4 90-85. Again Brett Morris posted a double-double in the game with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Since joining the MEC GSC is 8-1 all time vs. UVa-Wise with one of the wins coming in the MEC Tournament in 2015.
