DETAILS: Hawaii Kai Church Early Learning Center students will be performing songs during our second church service. Please have them report to room 101. After the service, please pick them up from room 101 and join us in the courtyard for a Thanksgiving lunch.
Hope you can make it! Director’s Corner Dear Parents, Turkey roasting, pumpkin pie baking…oh the yummy aromas of a Thanksgiving feast! Thanksgiving is not only about eating, it’s about thanking God for our beautiful world, our families, jobs, health, and His unconditional love and grace for us. Let’s remember to acknowledge Him each and everyday, and not only on Thanksgiving. Hawaii Kai Church and the Early Learning Center would like to invite you to join us on Sunday, November 22, 2015 for Preschool Sunday during the 10:30 am service. The children will be singing a few songs during our church service. We would also like to invite you to join us for a Thanksgiving lunch after church. There will be nursery and Sunday school classes for all children. Please come and join us for a time of worship and fellowship. We’d love to see you! THANKSGIVING LUNCH TO
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD Hawaii Kai Church Early Learning Center will be participating in Operation Christmas Child this holiday season. This outreach program allows less fortunate children in countries all over the world to receive shoeboxes filled with items specific to their age and gender. Each class will be putting together a box for a boy and a girl. Sign up to donate items in your child’s class and bring in items between November 9-13. This is a great way for us to share the love of Jesus Christ to children in poverty stricken areas.
PRESCHOOL SUNDAY Please join us on Sunday, November 22nd at 10:30 am for Preschool Sunday. The Early Learning Center children will be performing songs during the second church service. Childcare will be provided. After the service, we will be having a Thanksgiving lunch in the courtyard. All Early Learning Center students and their families are encouraged to join us. Please sign up in your child’s classroom. We would love to have EVERY child and family attend! Children should wear their school t-shirts.
JAMBA JUICE FUNDRAISER Our first fundraiser of the year will be kicking off the week of November 16th. Each student is asked to sell 5 Jamba Juice Smoothie cards for $10 each. Our school will keep $5 from each card sold. In addition, the top seller in each class will get a VIP package to either our Christmas program or End of Year program. This includes a reserved parking stall and 5 reserved seats in the worship center as well as a $20 Teddy’s gift card. Each Jamba Juice Fundraising Card is good for 1 free small smoothie and 4 buy one get one free smoothies. Cards are redeemable at any Jamba Juice store in Hawaii (excluding UH Manoa). Proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward our big SNOW DAY event scheduled for January 22nd. 2
