Graduation Celebration! It is with mixed emotions that we come to the end of another school year here at Hawaii Kai Church Early Learning Center. We have seen so much growth and progress in each child over the past year. A graduation ceremony will be held in the chapel for graduating students of the Keko and Pueo classes on Wednesday, July 19th. A time-line of the morning is as follows: 7:00-8:00 am – Normal drop off procedure in classrooms 8:30 am- Worship center doors open for seating of families 9:00 am- Ceremony begins Immediately following the ceremony, parents are asked to sign their child out from their classroom. Please join us in the courtyard for light refreshments. All children must be signed out of their classroom by 10:00 am.

Tuition Reminders As a reminder, HKCELC is a yearround school. Our tuition is based on a 12-month school calendar. For your payment convenience, families have the option to pay tuition on a monthly basis, with 12 equal installments over the school year. Registration at HKCELC is based on a 12-month commitment from our families. This ensures that we are properly staffed and can continue to provide a quality education for your child. Please be sure that your account with our new tuition management company, FACTS, has been set up to avoid any delays in admissions processing. We will no longer be accepting tuition payments in our office for the 2017-18 school year.
2017-18 School Year Information Families attending Hawaii Kai Church Early Learning Center for the upcoming school year are required to attend a mandatory Parent Orientation, which will be held on Tuesday, August 1 st at 6:30 pm in the Worship Center. Packet pick-up will take place from 6:15-6:30 pm. Parents and guardians only, please. Childcare will not be provided. Our first day of the new school year will be Tuesday, August 8th. Half of the children will attend for a full-day. On August 9th, the second half of the children will attend for a full-day. This allows for a more personable transition for both teachers and students. As a reminder, our center opens at 7:00 am and closes at 5:30 pm. We look forward to another year of serving the students and families of our community. We have an open-door policy. If you would like to share any concerns or praises, ask any questions, or provide suggestions, please feel free to stop by the office or give us a call at 395-7854. We’d love to hear from you!
Returning Student Paperwork Current students returning for the 2017-18 school year do not need to submit a new TB test. However, if you child has updated their immunizations, please submit a new Form 14 to the office. In addition, if your child has any changes regarding food allergies, etc., please inform the ELC office.
