Giving an Exam Taker a Second Copy of an Exam Exam Managers (EMs) are able to provide a second copy of an exam to each Exam Taker (ET) on an as-needed basis. The system default is set at one download per ET. Supplying additional downloads is at the sole discretion of the EM. 1.
Log into your Custom Home Page as an Administrator.
2.
Select the ‘Exam Management’ Tab.
3.
Then select ‘Exam Tracking’.
8.
The Edit Download / Upload History window will appear.
9.
Change the number of Max Downloads to “2” in the Max Downloads Field.
10. Be sure to select the ‘Save’ button to save the changes. 4.
Find the Exam you would like to work with and click the ‘Download/Upload History’ icon.
Verify the necessity for increasing the number of exam downloads for an ET on each exam posting. An additional download may be given for reasons such as: ETs computer fails prior to exam day but after downloading the exam, the ET forgets computer, or there is a hardware failure during an exam.
11. After clicking save, the Edit Download / Upload History window will close. You will notice that the ET will now have a Max Download of “2”, while the other ETs still have a Max Download of “1”.
5.
6.
Once the Download/Upload History page loads, select ‘Downloaded Exam’ and ‘Registered’. Then click the ‘Refresh’ icon.
The list of Exam Takers (ETs) who have already downloaded the exam will display.
If the ET forgot their computer and needs an additional download for a lab or loaner machine, keep in mind that they will still have access to the first download on their computer. ETs will need to perform a reverse download to purge the file from their machine or manually delete it.

From this list, locate the ET you would like to give an additional download to and select the ‘Edit’ icon.
