IMPORTANT VISA APPLICATION INFORMATION Fill out all applications in black ink and use the forms provided. Some countries require that the application be typed. Refer to the country specific visa instruction sheet enclosed. The photos must be 2” x 2” unless otherwise noted. The background must be plain white or off-white. The Peace Corps requires a professional appearance. Graduation or candid photos cannot be used. Do not wear a hat, sunglasses, or tank top. Photos will not be returned.

Enclosing the visa application and photos in the envelope used for your DS-11 passport application. For security reasons, CWT SATO Travel cannot open these envelopes to retrieve any items. You will encounter a significant delay in the processing of your visa application if it is enclosed in the same sealed envelope. Not leaving the passport specific fields blank. Unless instructions for attaching the photographs are specifically mentioned, use the photo holder or envelope provided by the photographer to submit to CWT SATO Travel. DO NOT staple, paste, or tape photos. Paper clips are acceptable. Sign your visa application when complete. Insert your visa application and photos into the mailing envelope you choose. Some Peace Corps posts may require additional photographs. Instruction will be given on the visa instruction sheet.
