Regen SW Regen SW is a leading centre of sustainable energy expertise and pioneering project delivery. Our mission is to enable business, local authorities, community groups and other organisations to deliver renewable energy and energy efficiency and build a prosperous lowcarbon economy in the south west of England and the UK. We do this by standing up for the sector with policy makers and media, running pioneering projects that accelerate the delivery of sustainable energy technologies on the ground, equipping companies working in the field of sustainable energy to make the most of the huge opportunities that the sector offers, and working with local, regional and national decision makers to create the right conditions for investment in sustainable energy projects. Until March 2011 Regen SW was core funded by the South West RDA and since then we have developed a viable business model as an independent, not for profit organisation. We have 256 corporate members and 10 local authority members. Details of Regen SW’s board and executive team can be found at www.regensw.co.uk Role Regen SW are looking to appoint new non-executive directors to the board to contribute to our strategic direction. We are looking for exceptional individuals to support the CEO and Executive Directors, providing independent advice, sharing ideas, opening doors and bringing fresh thinking and approaches. Directors will have the ability to make an important contribution as a member of our board providing vision and leadership to our dedicated team. We welcome applications from people with senior level experience in a wide range of backgrounds. Board meetings are held four times a year in Exeter and Bristol.
