Mentoring Program Laura Precupanu Senior Stimulation Engineer, OMV Petrom Production Operations
I have the background in chemical engineering (held a Master diploma from the Applied Chemistry and Material Science Faculty - University Politehnica of Bucharest) and since 2009 I am engineer with OMV Petrom, my current position being Senior Stimulation Engineer in the Sand Control and Stimulation Office, Production Technology Department. I was born in Constanta, a seaside city and there I did my studies including the high school. I have real interest for technical disciplines like production operations, production chemicals, completion, workover operations. Already participated to different professional trainings and workshops and I have a continuous desire of improvement. During my working activity have published 2 technical SPE papers, one with a topic in matrix stimulation and the second about one hydraulic stimulation new technology successfully implemented in a lenticular reservoir in OMV Petrom. My hobbies are theatre and royal families around the world. I am an active volunteer of the SPE Romanian Section.
