Mentoring Program Florin Stoica Drilling Engineer, OMV Petrom Drilling Engineering
Florin Stoica is a Drilling Engineer which holds a BSc. Degree in Petroleum & Gas Engineering at Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti, Romania and a MSc. Degree in Drilling at the same University, with the paper “Optimization elements regarding the Drilling with Casing operation”. After the 2014 graduation, on 1st of September he started his professional career within the oil and gas industry, upstream division as a Junior Drilling Engineer inside of OMV Petrom S.A., one of the biggest oil and gas market players from the South-Eastern Europe, being member of Well Technology team – Well Engineering Department, actual Drilling Operations Department. Starting with 1st of May 2017 he’s having full Drilling Engineer responsibilities as Contract Holder for all the Drill Bits contracts and he’s providing operational support regarding the Directional Drilling, Tubular Running Services and Fishing & Milling activities.
