Mitey Mite Football Red
The Mighty Mite Red team opened their season with a tough loss in thunder storm conditions. Strong defense in the first half by the Red D of Brady Jackson, Dean Poltronieri, Aaron Chmielecki, Zachary Elmer, Caleb Goldstein, Ethan Steichen, Sam Doty, Noah Humphrey, Evan Maslanka, and Nolan Murphy, set the tone for their many team members seeing their first game action. With a handful of near miss plays by the Offense in the first, the Bulldogs came out ready to play during the 2nd half. The tough Defensive stand continued through the 3rd Quarter, when the Mighty Might Black D of William Neikam, James Gregory, Nathaniel Duquette, Jacob Parshay, and Caleb Goldstein brought it to 4th and feet three times in a long drive by the Concord Vipers. Breakout plays by Running Back Tyler Parshay and Quarterback Brady Jackson took the Bulldogs down the field at the start of the 4th Quarter with a heartbreaking turnover at the end of the drive. Near misses continued to be the story of the Offense for the rest of the game, but the team looks forward to getting back on the practice field next week and preparing for a win against the Merrimack Cardinals.
