Tiny Mite Football
Mitey Mite Football Black
The Bulldogs Tiny Mite Team got off to another strong round-robin contest on Sunday, playing their first contest of the day against Amherst. Teddy Lapointe opened things up on offense with a couple of nice runs behind the blocking of Adam Tamburello, Cullen O'Connell and Frankie O'Donnell. Several great runs by Jack "Flash" Redfern added to the yardage tally with some ankle breaking cutbacks behind a Jayden Wilson block. The Bulldogs were topped by a strong and large Amherst defense who refused to let the Bulldogs 2 drives put them in the endzone. Great tackling by Gabriel "Taz" Landies and Evan LaForge couldn’t contain the Amherst offense. The second half was played against Seacoast and the Bulldogs were wide awake and ready to go! Gavin "Mack" McConnell ripped off a couple of long runs trucking would-be Seacoast tacklers including a beautiful 50 yard score set up by an Isabella "Izzy" Landies jaunt. Strong blocking from Graham "Chimi" Chimiliecki and Beckett "Buzz" Maslanka opened up huge holes all day. Seacoast tried to break the tie score by driving a few yards but ran out of time while being pancaked by Rocco "Rock" Aronson and Caleb Cleland to ice the game. Next week the Bulldogs play the New Hampshire Wildcats.
A rainy Sunday morning, did little to put a damper on the Bedford Mitey Mite Red team. A week that included a change in the schemes on offense and defense, renewed focus on their vaunted ground game, and a tenacity on defense that had the Merrimack Cardinals scratching their collective heads. The Mitey Mites had contributions from a number of players, but the offensive and defensive lines were outstanding all day. Carter Rick, Caleb Goldstein, Zachary Elmer and Aaron Chmielecki all made huge contributions with big hits to stop the opposition, or open a gaping hole for the Bulldog running attack. The final score was 32- 13 for the home town Bulldogs. The Mitey Mite Red team unleashed a new offensive philosophy this week, and it paid dividends immediately. Tyler Parshay, Brady Jackson and Evan Maslanka all had long runs on the first offensive series, which was punctuated by a short run by Jackson to start the scoring onslaught. Ethan Steichen made a pretty run for an extra point to put the Dogs up 7-0. Tyler Parshay showed both speed and elusiveness on his TD run to put the Bulldogs up 13-0 in the first qtr. Maslanka ran for over 130 yards in the win, and made huge contributions with a fumble recovery on defense. Jackson scored 4 TDs on the day, none prettier than the zigging, zagging, weaving spectacle that the overflow crowd was treated to in the 4th qtr that put the final points on the board for the bulldogs. The defense was a turnover machine all day,
forcing fumbles on the first two Merrimack drives, and setting the Bulldog offense up in great field position all day. Nate Duquette and Sam Doty made huge stops on Cardinals runners. Jacob Parshay and James Gregory anchored a defense that gave up very few big plays all day. Dean Poltronieri, Nolan Murphy, William Neikam and Noah Humphrey were forces to be reckoned with for the Bulldogs, as they continually harassed the Cardinals QB and runners, and made punishing hits when they were anchoring the offensive line that helped the Bulldog runners account for over 300 yard of offense.
Mitey Mite Cheer The Mitey Mite girls rocked the house today! Their half time performance was fantastic as well! Back Row: Claire Thomas, Addison Wallat, Reese Garrett, Jayda Denver, Natalie Elmer. Front Row: Kelsey Beekman, Grace Carey, Emma Taylor, Molly Ward, Ariell Berman.
Chmielecki, Murphy and Duquette made contributions to this offensive output with grinding runs that left Cardinal defenders in their wake. The Bulldogs look to build on this success again next week, against the New Hampshire Wildcats in Sandown.

Jr. Pee Wee Football Black The Junior Pee Wee Black team squared off with the Hooksett Hurricanes coming away with a 31-0 win on a humid, showery Sunday afternoon. Luke Soden started off the scoring with a scamper around the right end with some great blocking from Kevin Sheridan, Kieran Rice and Ethan Healy. Sheridan pounded home the extra point to put Bedford up 7-0. After a 4 and out defensive stand led by great plays from Spencer Henrichon and Danny Black, the offense was back on the field. Jackson Bolduc found the end zone while following great blocks from Nate Clark and Ethan Flanagan. Dylan Soden and Healy capped off the
scoring on the day with some hard running between the tackles and great blocking from Ben Ngyuen, Christian Morley and Teghan McConnell. The defense was all over the field creating issues all day for the Hooksett offense. The defense was led by Jack Riso and Ethan Chmielecki with an interception each followed up with quarterback sacks from Rice, the Soden brothers, Bolduc and Will Helmke. The defense caused multiple fumbles with recoveries from McConnell, Dylan Soden and Sheridan, who also led the team in tackles. The JPW Black team is on the road next weekend making the trip to Concord to take on the Capital City Vipers.
juking his way through the defense. Ledger “Rock” Russell had impressive carries and a big gainer punt return. Cal McAuliffe and Alex Grudinskas bowled through the Cardinal D-line time and time again and were devastating lead blockers when they were not carrying the ball. Grudinskas put up six points on one of his carries. Final score 32-0. Bedford Red is away next week against the NH Wildcats.
Jr. Pee Wee Football Red The season home opener saw the Red JPW team defer and the Steel Curtain started right away. Ethan Kemp, Cal McAuliffe, Mason Kimball, Alex Grudinskas and Brady “B-train” Champagne worked together on the defensive line to halt any and all runs. Linebackers, Aiden “All-Day” Oconnell, Evan Cibotti and Eric Morgan combined with a secondary including Jamie Collins, Jalen Kamineni and Joel “Vinny” Poltronieri to hold the Cardinals scoreless. Kaden “Glue” Elmer, Brady Martino, JD Cote, Owen Richmond, Ronan Balisteri and Tyrece “T-Rex” Sealey all made big tackles. Offensively, the line was anchored all day with the flawless play of Alex “Money” Moore. Cibotti connected with Oconnell for two touchdown passes. Oconnell had a third TD on scamper leaving defenders in his wake and finished with a two point PAT kicks through the uprights! Morgan connected with Jamie Collins on a quick hitting screen play and he dodged his way for extra yards. Morgan also had a TD run

nice receptions on offense for first downs. The first quarter ended scoreless but the Chargers got on the board early in the second with a TD but failed to convert the PAT. The first half ended with the score 6-0 Chargers. The Bulldogs defense really stepped it up to start the second half and pinned the Chargers deep in their zone. Colon returned a punt all the way down to the 1 yard line but the ball was brought back out to the 30 on a penalty. Erwin and Hayden Austen pounded the ball down to the 3 yard line behind the solid blocking of Mike Remick, Andrew McGee, Matt Vranich, Cam Cilley and Parker Bromley. Oconnell punched it in for a TD on a power sweep behind Erwin, Henrichon and Ryan Wallat. Oconnell also converted the PAT on a similar play that he cut up the middle. With a 1 point lead, the Bulldogs defense locked it down the rest of the way as Erwin and Henrichon continued their dominance up front along with big plays from Joe Mikol, McGee and Austen. Colon, Owen Christopher, Cam Healey and Cilley did their job by frustrating the Charger passing attack from the secondary. The Bulldogs face the New Hampshire powerhouse Merrimack Cardinals next week.
Pee Wee Football The Bedford Jr. Bulldogs Pee Wee football team squared off against the Massachusetts powerhouse Oakmont Chargers. In a defensive slug-fest, the Jr. Bulldogs prevailed with a hard-earned 7-6 victory. Both defenses were stout in the first quarter with Tj Oconnell, Parker Henrichon and Russ Erwin thwarting the Chargers attack with big tackles for losses and Carlos Colon chipped in with an interception. Colon and Henrichon also had
