Dear Parent/Guardian, Eastbourne School Partnership – Ben Heason Motivational Talk 17 June We have been invited by the Eastbourne School Partnership to attend an evening talk by motivational speaker, Ben Heason on Wednesday 17 June. Ben is a world renowned mounting climbing expert and talks to audiences nationally about how everyone can realise their potential through hard work and determination. This is an invitation only event and places are limited so will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The event will take place at Willingdon Community School and students will need to wear full school uniform. As the event is after school we would like to meet everyone at Willingdon Community School at 6.15 pm. The event will finish at approximately 7.45 pm when you can collect your child or give your permission on the reply slip below for them to make their own way home. We appreciate that not all students will be able to make their own way to Willingdon Community School and, therefore, intend to also take the minibus. We are limited to 14 places and again this will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If you would like to reserve a seat for your child on the minibus please indicate this on the reply slip below. Students confirmed as travelling on the minibus, will need to be at school at 5.20pm as we will leave promptly at 5.30 pm. We should return to school by 8.15 pm for collection or you may give your child permission to make their own way home on the reply slip below. If you would like your child to take part please complete the reply slip below and return to me at the school no later than Wednesday 10 June. I would like my child to travel on the minibus from school at 5.30 pm and will pick my child up from school at 8.15 pm / give permission for my child to go home by themselves from school.
