24 February 2017 Dear Parent/Guardian Big Future Show at Eastbourne Winder Gardens – Wednesday 22 March 2017 As you will be aware from recent copies of the Causeway Connection all of our Year 10 students will be attending the “Big Futures Show” careers guidance event at the Eastbourne Winter Garden on Wednesday 22 March. During this visit students will learn about the options and opportunities available to them in post-16 education and training in the local area and nationally. Students will need to arrive for school at the normal time of 8:40am in full school uniform and meet at the student entrance at 1:30pm and we will travel by coach to the Winter Garden. Students are recommended to collect food from the canteen at break time in preparation for this departure. We will return to school at approximately 4pm where students can be picked up or be given permission to make their own way home on the reply slip below. For this trip to take place we are requesting a contribution of £8 per student. It is possible the trip will not be able to go ahead if insufficient contributions are received. Please complete the reply slip below and return with your contribution, to school as soon as possible. Refunds will only be available if the trip does not run. For more information about the event please visit www.bigfururesshow.org.uk You too could visit the exhibition if you wish, it is open in the evening of 22 March for parents, carers and the local business community.
