10 March 2014 Dear Parent/Guardian Theatre Trip to Ghost Stories at Devonshire Park Theatre – Thursday 24 April 2014 at 7:15pm We would like to offer students from years 9, 10 and 11 the opportunity of experiencing a visit to the theatre to watch a live performance. We have planned a trip to the Devonshire Park Theatre in Eastbourne on Thursday 24 April 2014 to watch a doubled billed performance of Ghost Stories. They will see two short plays, The Signal man by Charles Dickens and Oh, Whistle, and I’ll Come To You, My Lad by M.R.James. The performance starts at 7:45pm, students will need to meet at the theatre at 19:20pm and be collected from the theatre after the performance at 9:30pm. If you would like more information about the play please go to www.eastbournetheatres.co.uk For this trip to take place we are requesting a contribution of £12.00 per student. The school subsidised the trip to give the best possible value for money and, therefore, no further student funding is available. In insufficient contributions are received, the trip will not be able to go ahead. Please note places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Therefore, if you wish your child to take part, please complete the acceptance form below and return it with your contribution to the main reception as soon as possible. Refunds will only be available if your place is refilled. Students are permitted to bring spending money if they wish but this should be no more than £10. Yours sincerely,
