Letters: F - J for handwriting and reviewing the sound of each letter
Words: zero, not, me, pink– We will also be assessing to see if they know all of our popcorn words
Book: Look At Me!
Poem: “5 Little Pumpkins”
Word Family- ot, not, hot, etc.
Math Things to be practicing:
Counting to 100 by ones and tens
Completing a hundreds chart
Writing and counting numbers 25 - 30

Coming up: 1. Everyday Folders: Please
make sure you are checking your child’s folder every night and taking the papers out. Leaving papers in there makes it harder to pack up at the end of the day
2. Reading Bags: Please be
sure to read through their story at least once every night! They really need the extra practice at home to help them to become confident readers. Also, make sure you are sending the correct book and the flashcards in the bag
Picture Retakes: Will be Thursday, October 30th. A parent must call DMH Photographics (prior to makeup day) to discuss the reason for retakes and add your name to the list 317.838.0921 Please see our website – www.dmhphotographics.com for our complete retake policy.
We will be having a fun afternoon on October 31st filled with games and crafts. Students may wear fun fall or Halloween t-shirts to celebrate, but no costumes please.
3. Behavior Charts:
Remember to initial your child’s chart every night.
4. Homework Folders:
Remember that homework folders are to be turned in on Fridays. The work needs to be completed and done well.
Please remember when sending in Birthday invitations or treats that there needs to be enough for everyone in the class. We currently have 26 students in our class.
